Nominate for PCT Honors!
Friends, Pacific Coast TV (www.PacificCoast.tv) is seeking NOMINEES for PCT HONORS 2019, slated for June 8th.
Each year, PCT recognizes outstanding people in our community who've excelled in one of three areas:
A) Service to our public sector
B) Service to our educational sector
C) Service to local government
These people may be volunteers or not but we are seeking the folks YOU feel are deserving of recognition for making OUR community a better place.
Just a name and a VERY SHORT explanation of why you feel they should be honored is all we are asking.
Last week on the eve of Valentine's Day, Kathy Holly joined us in the studio to shoot episode #69 of her show "Spotlight." She was joined by two special guests: jazz violinist Kit Eakle and singer Andoni Panici. The three discuss music, performance, and the career paths that each of them took en route to success. The interviews are accompanied by recorded performances from each of the featured guests. Join Kathy as she explores the lives of these two talented performers!
On December 20th, Pacific Coast Television wrapped up 2018! Friends and family came out to 580 Crespi Drive to celebrate the year's accomplishments and get excited for 2019. The studio was filled with the smell of Kenny's Chinese Cafe and the sounds of caroling interns, with smiles to be found all around.
Even Santa made an appearance and doled out gifts and praise (and shared a hearty helping of Kenny's). DJ Amanda rocked the night away as we ran through karaoke, charades, and even an ugly sweater contest.
As we recognized several PCT standouts, we also said a very sad goodbye to our good friend Gwen Miller, a steadfast supporter and a member of our board for over a decade. Martin Anaya and Dennis Willis summed up her years with a few heartfelt words, and her contributions will be sorely missed.
Thank you, Gwen, for all you've done for Pacific Coast Television!
