Every Earth Day, people from all over the Bay Area come to the coast side to help take care of the planet. The Pacifica Eco Fest is the largest volunteer community event in San Mateo County for Earth Day.
In the morning, there are several locations across the coast side to participate in. You can choose to cleaning up trash on beaches and parks or planet new wildlife.
Afterwards, check out Eco Fest at Linda Mar beach! There will be a special Drum Line performance at 11 am to kick off the event as well as booths and activities for the whole family.
It is a free event, fun and highly educational for families and individual of all ages. You will learn about the bees and how Pacifica Beach Coalition as well as other members of the community are trying to protect these endangered insects.
Parking will be limited so please think about using alternative transportation such as bus, shuttle, bikes or carpool.
Come visit the PCT Booth at Eco Fest for more information about PCT and our new studio in Half Moon Bay!
