Our celebration includes activities for the whole family with tours of the base of the lighthouse tower, information booths, music, children’s crafts and activities, and a local maritime author. The original first order Fresnel lens from the tower will be lit in its current location in the Fog Signal Building from 5 to 7pm.

Although there is no charge to attend the camp, we do ask that attendees send a thank you note to 3 of our sponsors. This can be done via email, Facebook, or regular mail. Without their help, these camps would not be possible. It only takes 20 minutes or so. By signing up, you agree to do this within 24 hours of attending the free surf camp. Space is limited. Each special surfer will need a ticket (free). Brothers and sisters will not need a ticket so please only sign up 1 ticket per family. If two children in the family have special surfers, please sign up for two tickets. Please Note: Only a child's parent or legal guardian can register their child due to legal reasons.
