The excitement is building as the World’s Greatest Gourd Growers and their Goliath, Mind-blowing, Volksewagn-sized orange orbs hope to crush the world record on the morning of Monday, October 14, at the 51st Annual Safeway World Championship Pumpkin Weigh-Off — in the World Pumpkin Capital of Half Moon Bay, California! 🎃

1st place receives the world's biggest prize of $9/pound, plus a special $30,000 mega-prize for any pumpkin that breaks the world record!

The weighing of pumpkins will begin around 7am and end around 11am, followed by the awards presentation and luncheon.
