PCT Honors 2017 Promotional Video:
Date: June 9, 2017
Mildred Owen Concert Hall
1220 Linda Mar Boulevard
Each year PCT celebrates the amazing accomplishments of 7 to 8 esteemed honorees in the areas of Public, Education, and Government (P.E.G.) service to our community. As the nation's longest running P.E.G. station we are deeply gratified to provide this community "friend-raising" program.
This year, we are also celebrating PCT's 40th anniversary as a non-profit community foundation. This means we'll inform attendees about the history of the station and its hundreds of volunteer contributors in a fun, multi-media show. Featuring complimentary Hors d' Oeuvres, networking with our fellow coast siders, entertainment, and finally a live program to introduce each honoree to our community, PCT Honors figures to be an amazing event.
While on our website please feel free poke around. PCT takes great pride in our mission as the public access voice for our community (Click HERE for more info).
Recent advances to help us with that mission include 24/7 live streaming, HD content delivery, and a very robust video-on-demand service so council meetings, community events, and local cultural programs can always be found. Also if you have any suggestions or ideas, feel free to call us.
We have a proposition to city staff to turn a portion of Ted Adcock club-house into a 21st century community media lab and studio space to educate and serve residents of all ages.
Over the past 40 years, Pacific Coast TV has tried to highlight the people that make our coast-side such a wonderful place to live. Please accept this invitation to help us recognize some of these people, their efforts and the inspiration it gives us all.
Tickets are $20. Call 650.355.8000 to get yours.
