Night of Lights will begin on Friday, December 1, 2017 with Krista Enos' Tree Lighting Carolers at the tree lighting ceremony at Mac Dutra Plaza (Kelly and Main Streets) at 6pm. After the tree lighting, the Prince and Princess of the parade will be crowned. Hundreds of children twinkling in lights led by the Half Moon Bay High School Marching Band will march down Main Street in the Parade of Lights at 7pm. Floats and an old-fashioned fire truck will guide Santa to his special seat at The Half Moon Bay Review for photos. For the Children's Area this year, Main and Kelly will be turned into a Winter Wonderland with snow, Santa, food vendors, and games! Don't forget that shops and restaurants will be open late for browsers wishing to see and taste the unique holiday treasures Half Moon Bay has to offer, so come walk amongst the white lit tree canopy of Main Street in downtown Half Moon Bay and help support a stronger local economy! Nights of Light is proudly brought to you by the Half Moon Bay Coastside Chamber of Commerce & Visitors' Bureau.
