The twin pandemics, COVID and the systemic issue of racial inequality, have brought mental wellness into the forefront of long-term issues facing society. Trauma is especially apparent in children of all ages, racial, cultural, gender, and socioeconomic backgrounds. At this event child development and education specialists discuss the impact of the twin pandemics, and how the arts help children deal with these dual traumas.
This event will be held both in person and virtually!
• In person ticket sales ends on March 9th and virtual tickets end on March 15th
• CZI doesn't validate any parking, but there are parking lots + plenty of street parking in the area
What kinds of art do you get to make?
I think arts that can give a feeling of peace to people that sees it.
This is very helpful to anyone, but also to children being raised in the pandemic!
