The next show at the Coastal Arts League Museum in Half Moon Bay is a photography exhibit entitled: "Capturing the Coastside", covering Montara to Pescadero. ABOUT: The show is a tribute to our community, presented by pro photographers who live on the HMB coastside. Subjects include scenic, wildlife, structures, people and events (like the Mavericks.contest), all shot within the Half Moon Bay coastside. The exhibit was created to make up for the loss in of two annual CAL photography shows: "Maverick's Everest of the Seas" and the "Kellicutt International Photo Show". "Capturing the Coastside" contains elements of both of those shows. In addition to photos, there will be books, prints, note cards and DVDs for sale, and a table of vintage photography and Coastside magazines on display. There will also be a raffle held during the Opening Reception by the Surfrider Foundation, to benefit the Half Moon Bay High School Surf Club.
