Event Description

Losar (Tibetan: ལོ་གསར་, Wylie: lo-gsar) is the Tibetan word for "new year". lo holds the semantic field "year, age"; sar holds the semantic field "new, fresh". The first day of Losar in 2018 will fall on February 16.

To celebrate this festival, Kunde Institute is organizing the annual Losar Celebration & Appreciation Day at Shelldance Orchid Gardens, please bring your family and friends and join us for the party on Saturday, Feb 24, 2018.
