Dr. Karen Ferguson is the CEO for CORA (Community Overcoming Relationship Abuse). This community based, 47-year-old organization is the single provider of domestic violence services for the county of San Mateo. As a vocal advocate, Karen has testified at various levels of government and has been an invited presenter at prestigious forums on social justice. On Friday Karen will discuss CORA's role in helping to educate on abuse prevention and what to do in emergency situations. We'll be taking calls from the community and live questions in the studio.
