In this entertaining and revealing talk, Gavin Pretor-Pinney, founder of the Cloud Appreciation Society, will show you how to recognize distinctive cloud formations from the common Cumulus to the rare and fleeting ‘fluctus’ cloud. With stunning images sent in from around the world by members of the Cloud Appreciation Society, Gavin will demonstrate the value of engaging with the sky and show you why cloudspotting is the perfect antidote to the pressures of the digital world. Looking up will never be the same again!

With over 44,000 members in 120 countries around the world, the Cloud Appreciation Society exists to unite people who believe that the sky is the most dynamic, evocative and poetic of nature's displays.
