Dive into empowerment at the 2nd Annual Sister-to-Sister Youth Leadership Conference!

AARS is hosting an event on April 18, 2024, in San Mateo County, offering a unique experience for young middle and high school girls to celebrate and embrace Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) culture. From 9:30 am to 4:00 pm, join them at the South San Francisco Library and Parks and Recreation Center for a day of inspiration and growth tailored just for you.

The theme for this year's event, "Ride the Waves," pays tribute to the four waves of feminism, with W.A.V.E.S representing "Women Amplifying Voices to Empower our Sisters." It aims to empower young women in the AANHPI community by fostering a supportive sisterhood that encourages them to amplify their voices, occupy space, and stay resilient, while also honoring the Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander community deeply connected to the ocean.
