Tour and learn the intriguing history of this amazing castle built after the San Francisco earthquake of 1906.

Constructed by Henry Harrison McCloskey, a San Francisco attorney for the Ocean Shore Land and Railroad Company, the castle has been occupied over the years by an interesting assortment of colorful characters. Some say the castle is haunted.

the castle has piqued the curiosity of generations of San Mateo County residents and beyond. The castle is open for monthly tours and special events.

    I can't wait to check Sam's Castle out! Just the thought of going to a haunted castle gives me excited but eerie chills.
