Events

Recology invites residents to participate in a free drop-off recycling event on Saturday, July 20th, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Burnham Strip, located at the intersection of Obispo Road and Portola in El Granada. This event allows one drop-off per household, and no large trucks are permitted. To participate, valid ID or proof of local residency is required. Drivers should remain in their vehicles while Recology personnel remove disposable items.

Acceptable items for drop-off include small appliances, electronic equipment, fluorescent bulbs, large blocks of styrofoam, mattresses, metal, auto tires (up to four), furniture, and unpaired wood. Items that will not be accepted include household trash, hazardous waste, construction debris, pressure treated wood, aerosol cans, cushions, garden hoses, suitcases, and packing peanuts.
