Every year, Pacifica Beach Coalition organizes the largest volunteer community event of San Mateo county for Earth Day.

The first part of the Earth Day of Action starts in the morning with volunteering actions happening along the beautiful coastline from Mussel Rock (Daly City) to Tunitas Creek (Half Moon Bay). The eco-friendly projects include trash pick up on beaches, parks and streets as well as planting, habitat restoration, gardening and more…

Then in the early afternoon, comes the big celebration:

from 11:30am to 2:30pm

Details on booths, activities, music, food and beverages to come!

It is a free event, fun and highly educational for families and individual of all ages. You will learn about the bees and how Pacifica Beach Coalition as well as other members of the community are trying to protect these endangered insects.

Parking will be limited so please think about using alternative transportation such as bus, shuttle, bikes or carpool.
