Pacifica Democrats Host District 3 Supervisor Candidate Forum

Residents of Pacifica and the greater San Mateo County community are invited to take part in a timely and informative public forum this Saturday, April 18, at 9:30 a.m., hosted by the Pacifica Democrats. The event will feature incumbent Supervisor Ray Mueller and challenger Joaquin Jimenez, both candidates in the race for the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors, District 3.

Held at the Sharp Park Restaurant, located at the Sharp Park Golf Course, the forum offers a valuable opportunity for voters to hear directly from the candidates about their priorities, policy positions, and vision for the district. As local issues—from housing and infrastructure to environmental preservation—continue to shape the region, this discussion provides an important space for civic engagement ahead of the upcoming election.

The event is open to the public and will also be broadcast on Pacific Coast Television, making it accessible to those unable to attend in person.

Attendees who wish to dine are encouraged to arrive early, as all food orders must be placed before the forum begins at 9:30. Breakfast options include a full breakfast for $20, a continental breakfast for $10, and beverages such as coffee, tea, or hot chocolate for $5. Please note that the restaurant accepts cash or personal checks only, payable to Sharp Park Restaurant.

Whether attending in person or tuning in from home, community members are encouraged to participate, stay informed, and engage with the candidates shaping the future of San Mateo County.
