Join POST for a gorgeous hike along the Cowell-Purisima Coastal Trail. This moderate-strenuous 7.2-mile flat hike offers gorgeous sweeping views of the ocean and nearby farmland, and you might catch glimpses of harbor seals, pelicans, hawks, rabbits, and whales during the winter season.
POST partnered with the California State Coastal Conservancy, landowners, farmers, and others to build this accessible trail. POST acquired the land in 1988 and today, it is not a part of the California State Parks system.
Dogs are not allowed on this trail.
