It’s a beautiful day in the Montara neighborhood. The annual Montara Art and Music Festival is upon us! With live music, food trucks and stalls with local vendors, the Montara community welcomes all visitors near and wide. Charity dog washing and dog adoptions are provided by CalPaws K9 Rescue. It all happens on September 20 at 5th Street in Montara.
Started in 2013 as a community potluck and a way to welcome new neighbors, Wendy Stokes and three of her closely knit friends have grown it into a multi-block, full day festival on September 20th showcasing local art, music, food and culture.
Much of the art, jewelry and clothing are for sale and are made by the vendors themselves. There are lots of kid activities as well making this a great event for the entire family.
Food is provided by 3 local food trucks such as Montara Mobile, Yo Soy Cerviche and Sage Blake House.
Recently the Montara Art & Music Festival partnered with calpaws.org offering charity dog washing and rescue dog adoptions.
