Surfrider, San Mateo Chapter is hosting a screening of the documentary "It Ain't Pretty," by Dayla Soul. The film looks at the challenges and triumphs of female big wave surfers fighting sexism in the water, in competition, in the media and in the surf industry. Please join us for an evening of inspiration and hope. A remarkable film about some remarkable women. The evening includes commentary by Ed and Mary Larenas of Surfrider, Sabrina Brennan advocate for equity for women in surfing and film maker Dayla Soul. The event is a fundraiser for the Surfrider water quality lab and Odd Fellows Hall, Half Moon Bay.
