So you think El Granada is a sleepy little town where nothing exciting ever happens… Did you know Quarry Park had a connection to World War II, and our quaint little Coastal towns were slated to become one giant city with a population of about 180,000 people just a few decades ago? Come join one of the key preservation leaders, Fran Pollard, as she tells the history of Quarry Park and the efforts to preserve our small town, and semi-rural character from gargantuan development.

Ages: Anyone interested in history is welcome. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Preregistration: Suggested in the event of a schedule change. Drop-ins welcome.
