Join us as Redwood City proudly marks California’s 175th anniversary with this year’s Fourth of July theme: “Celebrate California!” From redwoods to Hollywood, coastal vibes to the Gold Rush, our festivities honor everything that makes the Golden State shine.
Start your day with a Pancake Breakfast (8:00–11:00 AM) hosted by the Redwood City Fire Department.
Don’t miss Northern California’s largest Independence Day Parade at 10:00 AM, featuring Amazing Race stars Han and Holden Nguyen as Grand Marshals.
Enjoy a full day of festival fun (9:00–5:00 PM) with arts & crafts, food, beer & wine, a car show, live magic, face painting, and more.
Be inspired by local talent at the Chalk Full of Fun Festival on July 3 & 4.
Cap off the celebration with a dazzling drone show over the Port of Redwood City at 9:30 PM.
