Hi everyone! Sharing something for anyone with a middle schooler looking for a good weekday activity this fall.Peninsula Robotics (FRC Team 6036, Palo Alto) is running three after-school classes for grades 6-8 starting the week of September 29, all 5-7 PM at their lab on Middlefield: • Tuesdays - Software: build robots that can see, track, and make decisions • Wednesdays - Design: CAD and engineering design using industry tools • Thursdays - Build: hands-on mechanical design, fabrication, and assemblyEvery class is taught by high schoolers from an award-winning FRC team that placed in the top 2% of 3,700+ teams worldwide and won the Innovation in Control Award three times this past season. Small groups, so kids get real attention.No prior robotics or coding experience needed.
