Celebrate spring wildflowers at the 6th Annual Coastal Wildflower Day at Half Moon Bay State Beach! This festival features family-friendly games and activities, native plants for the garden, and nature walks. Participants can also enjoy live music, local artists selling their work, and a food truck for a picnic lunch. For those looking to landscape their yards with drought tolerant plants, there will be opportunities to tour the state beach native plant nursery and gardens, seek advice from native plant specialists, and purchase plants to take home. You can purchase native plants at Francis State Beach, which can be accessed by walking or biking along the Coastside Trail. Admission to the festival is free, but there is a $10 fee for parking. coastalwildflowerday.org
