The San Mateo County History Museum will present Crafts from Many Cultures, a children's program.  Youngsters will be invited to make crafts from around the world.  Activities will include making a Chinese dragon kite, creating an Irish wreath, stringing a Polynesian lei and designing an Italian mask.  Visitors will be encouraged to explore the Museum's exhibit gallery, Land of Opportunity: The Immigrant Experience in San Mateo County, which describes the story of the diverse people who have come to the Peninsula.  The children's program is free with the price of admission ($5 for adults, $3 for seniors and students, free for kids 5 and under).
