His live shows have been lauded by celebrities and legends alike, including P!nk, MC Hammer, Chris Isaak, Walt Mossberg (The Wall Street Journal), Pat Benatar, and Adam Duritz (Counting Crows). Grand Prize Winner of Bob Weir’s "The Road To TRI" contest, Baur has been recognized repeatedly for his passionate songwriting and unique musicality, a blend of soul, blues, and early rock n’ roll, attracting enthusiastic praise from The Bay Guardian & Examiner.com who says, "Reminiscent of the Rolling Stones and the Beatles with a slight folk twang. His first studio recording "Roem & The Revival" was produced by Damien Lewis (Rihanna, Janelle Monae, Keane) featuring KFOG favorite "Maybe I Don't Need You" which garnered Baur his first radio play.
