Brown Girl Surf works to build a more diverse, environmentally reverent, and joyful womens surf culture by increasing access to surfing, cultivating community, amplifying the voices of women of color surfers, and taking care of the earth! Come support our fall campaign by attending this incredible event at one of the greatest surfing venues on the California coast! Only blocks away from Mavericks- Old Princeton Landing serves incredible seafood, American cuisine and has a variety of delicious local beers on tap. 6pm Social Hour- enjoy food and drink and the Brown Girl Surf community! 7pm- Film Screening of Dayla Soul's inspiring film- It Ain't Pretty. Watch pro surfer Bianca Valentine and her posse from Ocean Beach ride giant waves and talk about being a woman in today'a surfing world 8:15pm- Q&A panel with the Director of the Film, Executive Director of Brown Girl Surf, and pro surfers! 8:45pm Raffle! There will be some awesome items to win from local Half Moon Bay surf shops! All ages until 9pm 9-11pm get your groove on with Van Goat! An incredible band from Oakland, CA that "Masterfully mixing Swing, Surf, Punk, and Pineapples into a magical Concoction." - I Heart SF Bands Come support Brown Girl Surf for this incredible evening!
