Half Moon Bay’s biggest autumn traditions are back, and PCT is taking you along for the ride! 🎃✨
Catch all the excitement starting with the 53rd Annual Safeway World Championship Pumpkin Weigh-Off on Monday, October 12th, followed by the iconic Art & Pumpkin Festival on October 17th and 18th.
Join us as we explore local "pick-your-own" pumpkin patches, sip on delicious fall drinks, and celebrate at the Great Pumpkin Parade! On Saturday, October 17th, watch honorary parade Grand Marshall three-time World Series Champion Sergio Romo lead the parade down Main Street alongside pumpkin floats, local dancers, and musicians.
Both festival days run from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and feature:
- 🎨 Pumpkin Carving Expert Farmer Mike & the World’s Biggest Pumpkin Sculpture
- 🥧 Pie-eating contests, live music, and pumpkin carving for fun
- 👻 A Halloween Costume Contest — ghosts, goblins, and spooks of all ages are encouraged to wear their spookiest outfits!
- 📸 Photos with Gourdy, the official Pumpkin Festival mascot
Admission is FREE! (Bring funds for food, crafts, parking, and your favorite pumpkins.)
