The very first surf dog competition was put forward by the author and publisher of the book "The Dog's guide to surfing". With the help of their sponsor TasteTV, and connecting with Loews Coronado hotel in San Diego as the host, the first ever dog surf competition was launched. After such a great success, the event inspired many other dog surfing events around the globe. 

To share the unconditional love a dog and their owner hold as well as show much endurance a dog has, TCB Cafe Publishing is taking the step to invent a new sport, creating an International contest series for your surf dog. The 1st annual world dog surfing championship is here. How amazing, bringing that love to life through the art of a sport.
