Fall is coming to the coast side and season five of PCT’s very own Coast Life! We welcome a new batch of interns and volunteers to the production team, including Emani Washington and Samuel Ewing as your guides to the Coast Side.

The debut episode of the season explores both new and traditional local events. We jump around the coast side from Pacifica to Pescadero, and even all the way to Santa Clara for a bit of funky ska. A few events covered by our production team include the Pescadero Art and Fun Festival for fans of local, independent artists and makers.

This year’s PAFF was definitely one to remember, as locals and tourists alive came together to enjoy beautiful country scenery, unique crafts and art, and monstrous double-scoops of ice cream in handmade sugar cones.

Next, we cover the First Annual World Championship Dog Surfing Competition at Linda Mar Beach attracted crowds of curious spectators to witness seasoned and rookie dog-surfers alike brave the chilly waters.

Finally, we visit the epic annual Fog Festival in Pacifica where longtime residents over the past 31 years have celebrated for their one-of-a-kind, beloved city and helped raise funds for community causes while enjoying amazing food as well as talented local bands and performers.
This season of Coast Life is off to an exciting start, and we’re looking forward to visiting more local events to bring the coast side to our viewers!

The episode premiere is THIS FRIDAY October 7 at 5:30 PM only on Pacific Coast TV, Comcast Channel 26/27 Half Moon Bay and Coastside. You can watch the episode on our VIDEO ON DEMAND server and YOUTUBE as well.
